Pertambangan emas tanpa izin (PETI) dan kesejahteraan keluarga di sekitar wilayah pertambangan

This study aims to 1) analyze the impact of illegal gold mining (IGM) on social, economic, and environmental conditions as well problems faced by families in IGM area; 2) Formulate strategies for handling family welfare. The research was conducted Pangkalan Jambu District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. type data used is primary sourced from respondents informants area around mining. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD). results analysis found that activities general have been able grow new job opportunities increase people's income. However, social aspects, there are various negative impacts Therefore, dealing with welfare, three policy recommended, namely: increasing capacity; strengthening values ​​of local wisdom capital society; 3) People's Mining Area Small-Scale programs.
